Global power battery leader CATL has relocated the warehouse for its high-performance battery core components "Liangpin Electrified body" to the high-standard warehouse at Forest Jinan EDZ Logistics Park. Located in Jinan Lingang Economic Development Zone, the project is close to Yaoqiang International Airport and major highway interchanges.

Clients note that the park features "high standards, comprehensive supporting facilities, complete fire protection systems and certifications, 24/7 property management services, and flexible leasing options." 1. Shandong Leads National Auto Production, Becoming a "High-Value Hub" for NEV Supply Chains

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, Shandong ranked first in China for auto production in April 2025, with 233,600 vehicles—a 45% year-on-year increase. As a key logistics hub in North China, Jinan is one of the regions with the highest density of new energy vehicle industries.

Within a 200 km radius, multiple renowned vehicle manufacturers and core component producers are clustered. CATL is also building an energy storage and power battery production base in Jining. CATL's warehouse requirements appear straightforward: Class C-II fire rating, fire safety compliance, and flexible location. However, storing power battery components—especially electrified body—involves three major industry-specific challenges:

• High Safety Redundancy: Battery components are sensitive to temperature and humidity, with potential combustion risks. Fire protection systems must exceed national standards.

• Fine Management Granularity: "Liangpin Electrified body" require batch and State of Charge (SOC) segregation, which traditional warehouses cannot support.

• Rapid Emergency Response: Thermal runaway signs require minute-level coordination between fire control and operational teams.

Forest Jinan EDZ Logistics Park’s high-standard warehouse strictly adheres to Class C-II fire protection standards, featuring professional systems including automatic sprinklers, indoor/outdoor hydrants, and fire alarm systems.
